Why do we find it so hard to change? I read so many writers–good, decent, honest artists of talent–and instead of pushing forward, they decide to stagnate. Thankfully, none of mine, yet, but it’s a fear I have in this publishing gig. And whatever you call it–“giving up,” “selling your soul,” “folding,” “selling out”–it’s damb scary.
