Today was acquisitions. Conference calls to publishers, agents, and other interested parties. Calgon, take me away.
But in the spirit of mutual support and friendly encouragement, I wanted to share some links I came across today that lifted my spirits. Each one has significant truths to offer for this journey toward becoming a “whole writer”—I’m starting to grapple with a definition of these spiritually-centered authentic creative Christian writers who are committed, sold-out, and destined to impact CBA and the world by redeeming every secular and profane influence that has crept in the back door.
The first is a great book on redeeming culture through a significant (and badly maligned, it seems) literary icon: Looking for God in Harry Potter, by John Granger
